Jimmy Arrington Memorial Rodeo a Sell out

News - News

CULLMAN, ALABAMA (15 Dec. 2011) – MEDIA ADVISORY – On December 9th and 10th the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office held the 1st ever Jimmy Arrington Memorial Rodeo which was to a sellout crowd.

The Jimmy Arrington Memorial Rodeo is in honor of Jimmy Arrington who served the citizens of Cullman County for over 27 years as a Deputy Sheriff and Investigator.  One of Arrington’s many achievements was to bring quality rodeo events to Cullman County by promoting the Annual Cullman County Sheriff’s Office Rodeo.  Since 1998, Arrington’s hard work resulted in the success of the annual event which continues after his death from leukemia, including this year’s 2011 Jimmy Arrington Memorial Rodeo.

Jimmy had a love for horses, competition and mischief, so Rodeo events were the perfect expression for his giving to others.  We would like to thank Jimmy Arrington and his family for this gift.

We would like to give a special thanks to the Lone Star Rodeo Co., sponsors, Rodeo fans and all the workers who helped make this rodeo a success.   May God bless!
